I’m having problems with the huge volume difference between the ‘Active ON’ and ‘Active OFF’ settings of the Crushstation plugin.

With other plugins I adjust the output volume to compensate for the volume difference created in the plugin, but Eventide made the Active knob respond to the output volume, so when the output volume of the effect is much lower then the bypass volume, and I adjust the output volume, not only the effect volume goes up, but the bypass volume goes up as well, meaning that both go up by the same amount and the huge difference in volume stays the same

How do I compensate the ‘Active ON’ effect output volume so that it’s equal to the ‘Active OFF’ bypass volume?

          Hey Demious,

Yes, the Output Gain affects both the dry and wet signals. I understand that this is not particularly ideal.

Would using the DAW-provided Bypass solve the issue for you? This would completely bypass the plugin and thus no Output Gain would be applied to the dry signal.
