        Has anybody Vsig ( H8000 compatible Version ) running on Windows 10 Home on a Microsoft Surface Tablet ( Small one – Go Tablet ) ?

          It runs on my Go tablet – bit of a fiddle to set up the database.

          Don't have an H8000 to hand to check the comms. I'll let you know in the (happy) New Year.

              Finally got hold of an H8000.

              Using a Sabrent (Prolific) USB to serial cable with a commodity USB-C adaptor, the comms seem to work.

              I've not tested everything, but it looks hopeful.
