As the title says, are any of the current Eventide plugins capable of reproducing preset 873 called “Rich Rhythm” from the H3000 hardware unit? Has anybody already recretaed that patch on an Eventide plugin?

Hi-
The H3000 Factory plugin will be able to reproduce the "873 – Rich Rhythm' preset. We cannot distribute the preset, but perhaps someone could provide the settings needed.

Why can’t Eventide distribute a preset which is present on their hardware H3000? Is the preset copyrighted by a former Eventide sound designer?
Hopefully someone will be able to provide the necessary information…

Yes, there were a set of presets created by a former Eventide developer who went on to found Sound Toys. We decided it best not to include those presets as part of our plugin. That said, nothing prevents anyone who has a rack mount H3000 with that preset couldn't simply copy and share the parameter values – it's just a preset. At this time, however, given that we're based in NY/NJ, we're working remotely, and it's unlikely that any of us have the rack mount unit at home.
