      Can anyone recomend a good aux switch? not interested in the boss switches…I would like something small with an actual button like the one's on my eventide. I know there are a lot of people who build them, but don't know who's to choose.

      The recommended one is the Digitech FS300. And it has switches like on the Eventide (metal).

       I use the Boss fs-5u as an aux switch for tap tempo and recommend it. Remember that a metal switch is not particularly suddle when performing on stage or recording in the same room as your gear. Depending on the kind of music you're playing/recording, keep in mind that frantic tapping on a metal switche is pretty noisy, while the Boss option is totally quiet. For tap-tempo, it works fine.

      I'm having great success with the Boss FS-5U as a tap tempo switch as well!
