Hi, as the title says, I’m wondering if my setup will work. I have Scarlet 2i2 3rd – is it enough? There are no in and out on the box. There are only two places for XLR/jack at the front and left and right channels at the back. What should I connect it to and if so, how? The second thing is whether I need a reampbox for my set. I read on the internet that it makes the sound better, but I’m not sure if it’s true and I don’t want to spend money for no reason. If it would help, I will use the set to manipulate samples. I will not be connecting any instrument. Sorry for the mistakes but English is not my mother language

      Hello jaubjakub23,

You may connect the H90 from Out 1&2 to the front of the 2i2 combo input jacks. Make sure the inputs are set for Instrument level; each input has a dedicated button for this.

The second thing is whether I need a reampbox for my set. I read on the internet that it makes the sound better, but I’m not sure if it’s true and I don’t want to spend money for no reason. If it would help, I will use the set to manipulate samples. I will not be connecting any instrument.

The 2i2 is limited in that it only has one set of outputs for monitoring. You will not be able to send signal out of the interface into the H90 and back into the 2i2 at the same time. I recommend an interface with at least another set of input and outputs for that type of processing. Regarding the need for a reamp box, because the H90 I/O can be configured for instrument or line level processing, reamp boxes are not a necessity, especially since you will not be connecting to an amplifier for guitar playing, which only have high impedance inputs.
