Flex switch (or Ox9 Switch 2 in my rig) is mapped to do quick momentary Octave Up and Down bends similar to the Digitech Ricochet or EHX Pitch Fork pedals. This preset makes every note on the guitar sound like the “same tone.” The guitar signal is completely obscured by the ring modulator so regardless of what is played, or where it is played on the fretboard, the result is always the “same tone.” While I achieved the sound I wanted, I have no recollection of how I actually made it and it is not clear why the preset works the way it does. It sounds refreshingly unusual. Enjoy!

Expression Pedal Toe: Delay B = 1/32
Unlimited rhythmic variations + octave shifts; thanks to the delay length precedence.
The Flex / Learn switch ... is useless here. Octaves are octaves. Useful w/ other intervals.
EXP PED changes the rhythm texture of the delay pair with every movement.
Delay B determines the feedback loop length, until it drops < Delay A @ 1/8 (taking over).

Zack at Zvex deserves a lot of credit for developing original effects in a very crowded field. One example is his excellent Seek Wah. This H9 preset is reminiscent of the Seek Wah's seemingly random autowah sound. It works best with my treble pickup. 9/8/2022
