The coarser delay-based take on resonant filtering can make for some unusual drones. And that can be most any of the TimeFactor or PitchFactor algorithms. But the Ducked Delay algorithm can be set up as automated switching between new input, and the trailing drones. It's a unique variation on FREEZE, with footswitch action replaced by your playing technique and dynamics.
The two DELAYs set up parallel 'drones' with infinite FEEDBACK (which the inline FILTER will eventually 'decay' . This THRESHOLD setting ensures that most any input note will cause the drones to duck down. A quick note release snaps the drone level back, while a legato fade or string decay will gradually bring up the held sound. Longer input notes disguise the discrete echo repeats, and finger vibrato can coax the drones back seamlessly.
No HotSwitch here, but the Performance Switch controls REPEAT (yet another variable locking the frozen sound). At first glance, there's nothing special with the expression pedal programming. DELAY A goes from 75mS to 25mS, while DELAY B drops from 100 mS to 50 mS. A switch to Tempo mode will quantize your parameter ranges in interesting ways.
But this kind of 'time modulation' gives up several effects; depending on how & when you use it. It can change the beating ratio between tubular sounds. It can bend the apparent pitch, or 'erase' the drones with micro-delay times. There's sped-up and slowdown FX. Or rhythmic imprints over the recirculating FEEDBACK. All this can be done in the background (input + ducked delays), or the foreground (no input + delay levels up).

Ok, this is not what you think of when you think "looper", but technically, it uses many of the same concepts. The results are more along the lines of resonant delays and pitch shifting with dark, foreboding undertones. Call it a lo-fi reverb, metallic pipe delay, tuned / detuned resonator, flange mangler ... it's all about the short delay times with heavy feedback.

The low THRESHOLD and extreme inverse compression settings (OMNI-RATIO) break up the trailing reverb in unpredictable ways. Clamp down on your notes, and you may hear long bursts of ambience, sliced & diced reflections, or nothing at all.
There's nothing natural about REVERB FRAGMENTS.
The expression pedal further decimates the reverb with pitch shifts & changing room characteristics. It can introduce subtle effects; all the way up to total chaos. The HotSwitch toggles from the instant onset of dynamic reversal, to a gradual fade-in of shattered FX.
Description
In an "empty" loop, select a maximum delay time in MAX-LENGTH (2.00 seconds here). Delay times less than this maximum can be trimmed after initial recording with the PLY-START and PLY-LENGTH controls.
Important: For the DECAY control to work correctly as delay feedback / regeneration, the Looper must be in Dub Mode (Record first to lock in the delay time, then switch to Dub).
Expression Pedal Heel: PLAYSPEED = 25
Expression Pedal Toe: PLAYSPEED = 200
With Dub Mode cycling:
* EXP PED shifts 2 OCT down, 1 OCT down, unison, and 1 OCT up & rate changes.
* PLAY switch shifts repeats forward to reverse (from current PLAYSPEED).
* DECAY fades out delays [0 = infinite feedback. 100 = single repeat.]
With Play mode cycling (hit Record switch):
* Current delay buffer contents are 'frozen' into infinite loop at current settings.
* Dry signal can continue over the top of the infinite loop.
* Hit Record switch again to revert back to the delay line configuration.
