Presets
Description
You prolly guessed that this is another tube screamer preset. It is similar to the one I built with EQCompressor but this one provides a little grit. Just a little though. Most people use tube screamers as overdrives. They keep the gain low and turn the volume up until they smash the front of a tube amp (where most of the distortion is generated). 9/9/2022

Here is my TS808 for the H9. The expression pedal gives you more or less gain with no increase in volume. The hotswitch adds some gain and a volume boost. This allows you to use the preset for some crunch rhythm and then hit the hotswitch when your solo finally arrives.

Harmadillo came pretty close to bringing the long-desired and long-illusive Univibe to the H9. This preset isn't a Univibe either but it's pretty close too. And, surprisingly, it's the only preset on the sharing page labeled "Univibe" so there that. If you have a better one please posted it up here too. 9/8/2022

My attempt at the univibe effect, hope you guys enjoy it!
Description
Best Univibe effect i was able to get from H9. use it with a mild overdrive in front, and it will be perfect

My attempt at the "Chorus" preset on the Univibe

My attempt at the "Vibrato" setting on the Univibe

Here is a second Univibe preset. This one is a slightly more "in the pocket" and is more useful because I've added a speed range for an expression pedal. 9/9/2022
Description
Buzzy, galloping tremolo.

Many of the H9 / 'Factor algorithms can mimic envelope and gating characteristics without an integrated compressor. Besides, I've always been a sucker for these Poltergist / Hendrix type of effects, when used sparingly.
The expression pedal mapping simply folds in the depth of modulation. One favorite technique is to set TEMPO ON, then play to the reverse reverb in a call-and-response manner. With precise timing, it's easy to create complex & overlapping phrases out of sparse input. Pauses are followed by a sudden 'gate' after DECAY time completion.
Use the HotSwitch here to kick in an infinite dimensional SIZE, and also add a FEEDBACK loop around the entire algorithm. Detuning and pitch bends can occur over time with expression pedal control over MOD-LEVEL. A beautiful holding pattern pushing a wall of sound; one that churns and recycles.
Disengaging the HotSwitch quickly brings up the reverse envelope once again, followed by the 'gate' slamming shut.

Sample-and-hold style filter modulation.

Expression Pedal Heel: Pitch A = 25 cents
Expression Pedal Heel: Pitch B = (-)25 cents
Expression Pedal Heel: Feedback = 100%
Expression Pedal Toe: Pitch A = 5 cents
Expression Pedal Toe: Pitch B = (-)5 cents
Expression Pedal Heel: Feedback = 0%
Deep vibrato echoes on offset loops that deconstruct over long decay times.
Flex switch doubles the pitch detuning at any given moment ('printed' within loops).
Expression pedal decreases detune while fading out loops to a single echo & slapback pair.
Description
Expression Pedal Heel: Feedback A = 110%
Expression Pedal Heel: Feedback B = 110%
Expression Pedal Heel: Mod Depth= 10
Expression Pedal Toe: Feedback A = 0%
Expression Pedal Toe: Feedback B = 0%
Expression Pedal Toe: Mod Depth= 20
"Utterly without redeeming social value" preset. Crazy vibrato in phase-offset loops.
The Repeat switch latches feedback anywhere from the default runaway setting on down.
EXP PED increases modulation depth while decaying the loops (+ base pitch shifting).
Not for the squeamish, but can be tamed (lower Mod) for fast-syncing phased looping.
Description
This is a blast-from-the-past with one early commercial use of the H910 Harmonizer. It has a dry mix for more of a background effect. The expression pedal is mapped from 30 to 112 milliseconds for both delay lines.

If you have tried to use the trim knob in EQCompressor you know that the lowest it will go is -12dB. That's not enough for a true volume pedal. This preset will go down to zero and up to any level at which you set the trim control. 0 dB is like a passive volume pedal but you can set it to boost up to +12 dB if you want. Also note that, in this preset, the max is 0 dB with the treadle toe down; so that is the equivalent of being in buffered bypass mode. From there the hotswitch add will another 7 dB of boost for a solo. And you thought volume pedals were simple.
