Pitched up. Noisy. Buzzy.
Description
Splatty fuzz tremolo.
Description
Octave down fuzz sequence.

I scoured the earth to find the best H9 autowah preset so you won't have to. It was created by an Eventide forum member named mheydman. Many thanks to him on a job well done. It works best for me on a treble pickup but YMMV. 9/6/2022
Description
This GATE CRASHER preset simulates an EHX Freeze technique [Fast toggle - instant attack & instant decay]. Use it with chords for synthesizer 'orchestra hits', or palm-muted to bring back memories of the ubiquitous '80's drum sound. The relatively high THRESHOLD setting ensures that most - but not all - notes get the gated 'verb treatment.
The expression pedal mappings lengthen the compression envelope times in a wetter mix. It blends toward a softened ambient room. Still gating, but with rounded edges. The 1:1 ratio on the HotSwitch effectively disables the gate effects, and brings up a brighter large room.
Description
TRIGGER sets the gate's input sensitivity in UltraTap's CHOP multi-parameter. The RELEASE time for the gate is at its shortest setting. The burst of TAPS creates a very short attack that quickly clamps down after 150 milliseconds (LENGTH).
The expression pedal increases the maximum time span that contains the series of delay taps. It sweeps through resonant tones, bow-scrapes, clipped delays, individual glitches, and slowdown effects without changes in pitch. The HotSwitch brings up more dry signal, blurs the TAPS with some diffusion & modulation, and lengthens the time to gate closing.
Description
Glide down + tremolo.
Description
This GlidingDotted8th preset is a slightly tamer variation on the RubberBandGlitch settings above. A perfect 4th quickly slides down to Unison, while the 5th glides upwards to an octave.
The pitch shifts are spread against dotted 1/8 and 1/4 note delays. I added a little Feedback here, but I usually program that parameter in the expression pedal for a range of 0 to 100.
Description
Random glitch effects. Expression pedal mapped to DYNAMICS and LENGTH.
Description
Glitchy groove.
Description
Subtly detuned delays. Expression pedal controls delay times.

The Hairy Eyeball is a 3-in-1 overdrive (a low gain boost designed to distort the next thing in you signal chain) with a TS808, a Klone, and a tweedish/mid-focused thing. An expression pedal and a hotswitch gets you all three. I'm driving this into a Kingsley Page (and then into a slapback delay), but you could hit any other drive or the front of an amp. The H9 "Trim" control adds a little crunch (I didn't know that until today) just like you'd use a Klon or an 808. Naturally, you can make other presets by reconfiguring the three parts and, as always, adjust to taste. 9/16/2022
Description
The Hairy Eyeball has now evolved into a set of three low gain overdrives (designed to distort the next thing in you signal chain). The three voices are a TS808, a Klone, and a mid-focused H9 factory preset called “Balls”. An expression pedal allows you to adjust the mid hump in each until you find the best setting for you. You could then eliminate the range if you’d like. The “TRIM” knob is a gain knob with a limited range and a hotswitch uses that knob to provide a modest crunch-boost option. The TREBLE and BASS knobs basically operate as expected. The default TRIM setting adds a volume boost so I have nullified that by reducing the output level. These presets are driving my Kingsley Page, Page TS, and Page J out of this world! Naturally, you could hit any other drive pedal or the front of an amp. As always, adjust to taste. 9/19/2022
Description
I've now added a fourth Hairy Eyeball low gain overdrive (designed to distort the next thing in you signal chain) preset for a Treble Booster. This is more accurately described as Treble Booster inspired because I tailored it to suit my ear (ironically, by removing treble). The other three voices are a TS808, a Klone, and a mid-focused H9 factory preset called “Balls”. These presets are driving my Kingsley Page, Page TS, Harlot, and Page J out of this world! Naturally, you could hit any other drive pedal or the front of an amp. As always, adjust to taste. 9/26/2022
